Mohammed Kudus' West Ham Crushed by Chelsea in 5-0 Loss

On Sun., May 5, 2024, Chelsea defeated West Ham 5-0 at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea controlled the whole game, whereas West Ham couldn't keep up. 

Playing for West Ham was Ghanaian footballer Mohammed Kudus, yet that didn't stop the big loss.

Chelsea's Cole Palmer scored after 15 mins; later, Conor Gallagher widened their lead close to 30 minutes. By halftime, Noni Madueke added one more, placing Chelsea ahead 3-0.

During the second half, matters worsened for West Ham when Nicola Jackson (from Nigeria) added 2 more points, solidifying Chelsea's triumph. Now Chelsea stands at No.7, still having hope for getting into Europe matches next year.

For West Ham, however, problems persisted: weak defense and little offense showed all through the game. Currently struggling in the league, this recent loss only increases the stress.

Nevertheless, something good happened for West Ham - Mohammed Kudus performed brilliantly! Completing 13 tricks past Chelsea players, he set a fresh record in England's top soccer division this season.
